Phil, a qualified stone wall builder, landscaper, horticulturist and trainer, and Dee, a human resources manager have the joy of living and working here at Carraignamuc.
The Cottage is set on just over an acre of land up in the Wicklow Hills in Ireland. We've been here for four and a half years now and bit by bit we've turned it into a smallholding of sorts complete with chickens, geese, dogs and hopefully soon a couple of goats.
With already two polytunnels set up we are planning another three this year and will be using them for propagating herb and vegetable seeds which we'll be bringing to market to sell on, followed by a selection of veg later in the season.

As we're right on the Wicklow Way we retain a small part of our garden for camping from march to september. Its a very serene spot to put your head down at night after a hard days walking. We offer an outdoor eco shower and compost toilet in keeping with our enviromentally friendly ethos. We have a pay as you pick policy for any goodies you'd like to pick from our tunnels offering you the freshest organically grown veg and eggs for any cooking you wish to do.
